1. Who we are
[Draft: name of the seller, contact email and address.]
2. What we collect
[Draft: account details (username, email, mobile number), purchase records, signed-in devices. Error reports: when an edit fails or freezes, the app sends us the technical error (app version, system, the step that failed) so we can fix it, never your videos, audio, words or file names. You can turn this off in the app's Settings.]
Edit reports and website analytics
[Draft: Edit reports: after each edit the app sends us a technical report so we can find and fix editing bugs: the settings used, how long each step took, errors, where the cuts, zooms, effects and graphics were placed (in seconds) and automatic quality checks. It never contains your video or audio, and by default nothing you said. Only if you allow it ("Share transcripts and cuts" in Settings, asked once), the report also includes the edit's words, which ones were cut and why, the AI's notes, the hook and your instructions; these are used only to improve Montaji and are visible only to our team. If you send us feedback or ask for changes, that message is included. You can turn reports off in Settings. Website: we use analytics and advertising pixels (Meta, Google Analytics, TikTok, Microsoft Clarity) to measure visits, sign-ups and purchases. When you buy, we send Meta and TikTok a coded (hashed) version of your email and mobile number to measure our ads.]
3. Your videos and audio
[Draft: videos stay on your computer. Only the audio is sent to the transcription and cleanup services you connect, under your own accounts.]
4. Services you connect
[Draft: AssemblyAI, Anthropic (Claude), Auphonic, ElevenLabs: their own privacy policies apply.]
5. Payments
[Draft: payments are handled by Paymob (customers in Egypt) or Stripe (everywhere else). We don't see or store your card details. To show you the right prices we look up your country from your IP address (IP Geolocation by DB-IP); we don't store it.]
6. How long we keep data
[Draft]
7. Your rights and contact
[Draft: how to ask for a copy of your data or to delete your account.]
